We have all heard that we need more balance in our lives. But what does that mean? Is it work, life balance? Financial balance? Health balance? The term balance has been thrown around for years and not many people have mastered it. But that’s because it is not something that can be mastered. It is a constant work in progress. Something that is organically evolving and changing as we grow and walk on our journey of life.

But at the end we have learnt that if you are energetically balanced the rest will fall into place as it is meant to. Everything in our lives stem from the energy we put behind it. This includes physical energy. More important is our mental/ spiritual energy which feeds into our energetic body.

Our bodies are surrounded by invisible fields of electromagnetic energy – this is sometimes referred to as our Aura – and in many pictures you will see colours associated with different energy centers in our physical bodies. We have seven energy centers or Chakra’s which means wheel of light in Sanskrit. Each energy center is connected to different organs, tissues and parts of our bodies.

From Root Chakra up to Crown Chakra. If we have blockages anywhere along this path, we prevent ourselves from living our true potential.

It’s like having a blocked sink, water will not flow smoothly if at all. And it all begins at the base with our root chakra. Our aim is to release all build up that may be clogging our chakra system. This may include initial Reiki Healing – Chakra Healing sessions to remove the old debris followed up by your own daily practices - clearing sessions or what we like to call Balancing on the go! We would recommend continuing your Reiki sessions as needed – it may be for some monthly, quarterly or even yearly depending on your life circumstances.

Energetic imbalance doesn’t necessarily appear as immediate illness. It often shows up subtly at first:

  • Persistent fatigue despite adequate rest

  • Emotional reactivity or numbness

  • Mental fog, rumination, or lack of clarity

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or others

  • A general sense of being “out of sync”

Over time, chronic stress, unresolved emotions, and mental overload can contribute to deeper imbalances that may affect physical health. From a holistic perspective, the body often expresses what the inner layers have been holding for too long.

Balancing the energetic bodies supports health by encouraging coherence—a state where thoughts, emotions, and physical responses are aligned rather than in conflict. When the system is balanced:

  • The nervous system is more regulated

  • Stress responses become less reactive

  • Emotional processing feels smoother

  • Mental clarity improves

  • The body can direct more resources toward healing and repair

When the body feels safe and regulated, it can shift out of survival mode. This shift alone can have wide-reaching effects on sleep quality, immune function, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. And then we have Unprocessed emotions and repetitive thought patterns that can create internal tension that drains energy. Balancing the emotional and mental bodies involves awareness, compassion, and release rather than suppression and Reiki energy healing provides this environment for the body to come back into a coherant state.

As with different model cars there are different modalities to help you energetically balance. You will need to find the one that resonates with you. The one that makes you feel safe, comfortable and fits in with your lifestyle.

Some of the main professional Energetic Balancing modalities include Reiki Chakra and Energy Healing, Kinesiology, Yoga. These professionals are all a good place to start your healing journey.
